Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was born in Minsk which is the capital city of Belarus. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her father, a hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk 5 May 1998. She has had 12 WTA singles titles. One of them was an Australian Open Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. As a specialist of doubles she has also won the US Open of 2019 as and her first Australian Open of 2021 with Elise Mertens. She was the winner of both her first WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian Partner, who completed the Sunshine Double. Women's doubles only had four couples win this title. There were only four couples who achieved this feat during women's doubles. After winning the Melbourne doubles competition in February of 2021, she was able climb the ranks to take the first spot for this particular area. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach in 2018 until her season came to an end in the year 2019. He also coached her for a short time before the year 2020 began. Dieter Kindlmann worked with her for short periods in August of 2020 until September. From the beginning of 2020 she's been trained by her countryman Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova have been her inspirations.
